Dress Whip Wounds – CHỮA LỐT ROI ĐÁNH
Once upon a time, there was a man who was punished by the king by whipping and was wounded from it. He applied on the wounds horse excrement for quick recovery.
Xưa có người bị nhà vua lấy roi đánh. Bị đánh, người ấy lấy cứt ngựa đắp vào chỗ lốt roi, mong cho chóng khỏi.
A stupid man nearby was pleased to see it. He said to himself, “I have just discovered the method to cure a wound faster.”- As soon as he got home, he told his son, “You are going to whip me until I’m wounded. I have got a good method to cure wounds. I should like to try it.”- Then, he was flogged by his son who dressed his wounds with horse excrement, believing it was a good method.
Có người ngu trông thấy, vui mừng nói: “Ta thích được phương-pháp chữa lốt roi đánh này!” Về nhà, người ngu bảo con: “Con cầm roi đánh vào lưng cha nhé! Cha đã học được phương-pháp chữa hay lắm, nay cha muốn thí-nghiệm xem sao!” Con nghe lời cha, lấy roi đánh cha, lấy cứt ngựa đắp vào, cho là phương-pháp khéo léo.
So are the people at large who hear that the practice of meditation on impurities could remove the evil corruption of the body. They say to themselves in these words, “We are going to meditate on venery and the five desires.”- They did not see the impurities of the body, but rather got deceitful and wrong ideas from the pursuit of sexual pleasure. Furthermore, they suffer from Transmigration and descend into Hell. This is held to be true with the stupid at large dressing their wounds with horse excrement.
Người đời nghe nói về việc tu “bất-tịnh-quán (quán thân không sạch), là bỏ được thân ngũ-uẩn (9) này, liền nói: “Giờ ta muốn quán nữ-sắc và ngũ dục (10) xem sao!” Ngờ đâu, tâm chưa vững, chưa quán được “bất-tịnh” đã bị nữ-sắc mê-hoặc, bị lăn-lộn trong sinh-tử. Người ngu ở đời cũng thế!

(9) Ngũ-uẩn: Còn gọi là ngũ-ấm: sắc, thụ, tưởng, hành, thức, 5 thức này tạo thành vật-thể.
(10) Ngũ-dục: 5 món dục vọng của-cải, sắc-đẹp, danh-vọng, ăn uống, ngủ nghỉ. Hoặc là: sắc, thanh, hương, vị, xúc; 5 trần-cảnh.
