I am not there; I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow,

I am the diamond glints on snow,

Bên mộ tôi chớ khóc than

Tôi đâu nằm đó, đâu an giấc nồng

Tôi là gió thổi bềnh bồng

Là kim cương sáng rực hong tuyết trời

 

I am the sunlight on ripened grain,

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush

I am the swift uplifting rush

Ánh dương phủ lúa rạng ngời

Là mưa thu giọt tuôn rơi nhẹ nhàng.

Sáng người tỉnh giấc mơ màng

Tôi hòa tiếng cánh chim ngàn tung bay

 

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,

I am not there; I did not die.

Quây quần êm lượn họp bầy

Tôi là sao chiếu sáng đầy đêm thâu

Bên mộ tôi chớ khóc sầu

Tôi đâu nằm đó, có đâu lìa trần.
